Very Cheap Wedding Invitations
It is possible, even in this day and age, to cut costs when it comes to weddings. There is absolutely no need to burden yourself with huge debts knowing that this is just one day in your life.
Many stationers will happily print up cards from around $1 - $2 each or thereabouts but if you are having three hundred guests then this is quite a chunk of change.
Stock wedding invitation cards can be bought from stationers at a smaller cost but it does mean that you are likely to have seen the same cards before or someone close to you could have used the same style.
If you want very cheap wedding invitations then perhaps the best route to take is to print them yourself. Many home computers have fancy fonts and many colors so that you can arrange and design your own invitation cards.
Many stationers or printers will have blank sets of wedding cards which can include the envelopes, place cards, thank you notes, response cards etc., and come in many styles and formats. Pretty ribbons adorn some but these are obviously a little more expensive than the stock variety.
If it is very cheap wedding invitation cards that you want then the easiest, and most effective way of making them is to find some quality card that you like in the color of your choice. Design the words, font, color etc., on your computer and print off six or eight to a page. Then slice them with a guillotine – absolutely necessary to give a sharp and crisp edge. To add a touch of class either tie a color coordinated ribbon around the invitation or run a colored- perhaps gold or silver – pen along the edge to highlight it. All you have to do then is pop them into envelopes and send.
Finally, to save on costs don’t include a response card or a return envelope. Let your invitees tell you if they will be attending or not - after all, you are inviting them to spend time with you on your special day.
